4th of July & Father's Day

4th of July was so much fun! We made an entire weekend out of it...we went swimming, went to Cody's baseball game, and had a picnic at the park with Lacey & Cortland to watch fireworks. Weston was not afraid of the fireworks, but he wasn't too interested in them either. He was fascinated for the first 5 minutes then he became bored with them. It wasn't until the finale, 10 minutes later, that he payed attention again. He's such a mess! Now that he's literally running around, it's tough to keep up with him! He's in a "middle stage" where he's learning and wanting to comprehend what you're saying but he's still not completely interpreting and understanding everything. When you say "stop running", the little tyke doesn't quite understand to stop! :) But we're working on it! Consistency is key!

At the park! Lacey, Cortland, Eric & Weston

Aunt Lacey loves me!

Swimming in the back yard...do you like my pool?

Mommy loves me sooo much!

Happy Father's Day, Daddy! Father's day was a lot of fun. We woke Daddy up with breakfast and presents. So much fun! :)

"Daddy's Rockstar"

Weston will pick up anything, especially a phone, and put it up to his "ear"...which, in his case, usually means he puts it behind his head and says, "Eh-yo?"...TOO CUTE!
