14 Months
Weston was 14 months on August 9th. WOW. And I'm sorry it's been so long since I've blogged and been in the "blogging" routine. This summer has been so HECTIC for us! It seems like every weekend we have plans and are traveling out of town. We are extremely ready to have free weekends and just hang out...do nothing...enjoy Weston's company. Don't get me wrong, the weekends have been fun-filled and exciting, but sometimes traveling can turn into something you're dreading to do, simply for the fact that you're tired of traveling. Traveling with a toddler is HARD WORK! We practically have to pack up the entire house just to go on a weekend trip. That being said, we were finally home one weekend and the pictures below are from the weekend. I cooked supper, Eric did yard work, Weston played inside and outside, and Daddy put together Weston's play house! Weston loves it and has played in it every day since.

4th of July & Father's Day
4th of July was so much fun! We made an entire weekend out of it...we went swimming, went to Cody's baseball game, and had a picnic at the park with Lacey & Cortland to watch fireworks. Weston was not afraid of the fireworks, but he wasn't too interested in them either. He was fascinated for the first 5 minutes then he became bored with them. It wasn't until the finale, 10 minutes later, that he payed attention again. He's such a mess! Now that he's literally running around, it's tough to keep up with him! He's in a "middle stage" where he's learning and wanting to comprehend what you're saying but he's still not completely interpreting and understanding everything. When you say "stop running", the little tyke doesn't quite understand to stop! :) But we're working on it! Consistency is key!
