"Uncle Brother"

Carson, aka Uncle Brother, came to Nashville for 4 whole days! We are so glad he came. Uncle Brother got to spend so much time with Weston---we had a blast! Carson got to experience more than just a day or two in the life of Weston...we hope he enjoyed it as much as we did! Thanks for coming, Uncle Brother! Below is a photo shoot of Weston and Carson...

Are you sleepy?

Weston is learning so many new things! He's trying so hard to scoot around...he is determined to crawl! I think he's so comfortable rolling to where he wants to go, that he hasn't figured out there's something much easier out there to do. But, like his father, he may skip crawling all together and go straight to walking. This boy LOVES to stand!

Aren't I the cutest thing you've ever seen?
Watch out, girls!

...hanging out with Lucy. Lucy loves to play with me on the floor. If I'm on the floor playing, she will go to her basket and get some of her toys...then bring them to me and play.

Last, but certainly not least....Weston in his Jumparoo! Now, Weston LOVES his Jumparoo....he loves how he can stand (without our hands on him), jump around, and play with the many toys surrounding him. But this particular time that I was recording him, Weston began to get sleepy...it's hilarious. Please watch this video and enjoy!

Weston Sitting Up!

Weston sat up alone today for the first time!...from lying down to sitting up. I was able to capture the 2nd time on video. He also threw in an "Indian noise" for you to see. Enjoy! We are so proud of him! Enjoy!

7 Month Old Baby Boy!

Weston is 7 months old...yes, SEVEN months old! CRAZY! He's such a big boy. He's sitting up like a pro...he's rolling around non-stop---if he wants a toy that's way out of reach, no problem...he'll just steam roll over to get it. He's learning to scoot...he gets up on his hands and knees and will push off and scoot backwards. I hear this is the first step of crawling...yikes! Weston will be moving around our house before we know it. Time to baby-proof everything! He's eating 3 meals a day, and in between food, he's taking bottles. He loves to eat---and loves everything...except green beans...he despises green beans. He loves lemons...we discovered this while eating out---we gave it to him so we could see that "classic baby face" when a child eats a lemon---but nope---not this one...he grabbed it from me and chewed on it. Loved it.
Weston loves to make the "indian noise"...you know, that noise when you continuously pat your mouth to make sounds? Gamma taught him how to make the noise when she patted his mouth, but our little genius quickly caught on and can do it himself now. If you do it, he'll follow suit. If you "bam" on the table, he'll do it, too. It's great! ...and just another reminder of how fast he's growing.
We can't believe how big he's getting...it's already been 7 months since we had him...wow.
Playing with some of my toys!!
Mommy wanted everyone to see my 2 teeth...they're so big!

blaaah.........
...I fell asleep in my high chair

ROLL TIDE!!! Watching the game with Mommy & Daddy....and what a GREAT game that was!

Riding in my new wagon! Want to take a ride with me? It's a 2-seater!

Congratulations, Merry Christmas, God be with you, & Happy New Year!

Wow. We have been so busy! Let me start with Carson's graduation. WOOHOO! Carson graduated from UGA on December 18, 2009. We are SO proud of him. Although Carson may see it as the end (of more than) an era, we see it as a prestigious accomplishment and couldn't be more happy for him (and my parents, ha). Good luck to you, Uncle Carson, we know you'll do great things!
Christmas was tons of fun. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day in Carrollton (where Santa came), and then traveled to Ohio for the other half of our Christmas. We had so much fun in both places and thank everyone for everything. Weston's first Christmas was a blast and he received so many wonderful things...as did we!
We would like everyone to take a moment and send a prayer to the Garner family, as they have suffered tremendous lost (as well as the entire Carrollton community, Molly's friends, and everyone whose life she touched). Please keep the Garner family in your thoughts and prayers. Jerri, Wayne, Emily & Griffin...We love you dearly.
Lastly, We extend our arms to everyone and wish you a happy, healthy, and merry New Year! We hope 2010 brings you as much joy as our Weston brought us in 2009.

Happy Graduation, Uncle Carson!

Unfortunately I was pretty sick during my first Christmas...Mommy kept giving me steam baths!

Merry Christmas!

Me and Poppa had a lot of fun hanging out...

Haven and Amanda came to visit me in Carrollton! I love them!

Uncle Carson got me an outfit that says, "My Uncle Rocks"...he sure does!

While up north for Christmas, I played a part in a very important "cousin" play. They asked me to be "Baby Jesus".....I agreed and had a blast!!!!! This is a picture of me with "Mary & Joseph"...I'm sitting in the manger.
