The Many Faces of WJ

Weston has so many faces...it seems like every day he's showing us something new he's learned to do. He smiles more every day and is still working on his little "chuckle". He's such a great baby...we are so blessed! He has been sleeping in his pack-n-play next to our bed...a lot of you know that Weston has been sleeping in the bed with us since the day he came home from the hospital...so sleeping next to our bed instead of in it has been a huge step! Although he still prefers our bed, we are working on making the transition permanent. We can't believe Weston is 11 weeks old already. In just 5 weeks he'll be eating baby food---crazy! We are still enjoying and loving our new home, especially now that the boxes are beginning to dwindle and it's getting more and more organized. We are looking forward to spending a relaxing weekend at home.

We have moved!

The three of us have moved! We bought a house in Brentwood in a great subdivision with great neighbors! We are so excited about starting this new chapter in our lives. Weston is doing great and loves the new house, too!

Weston hung out in the Bjourn for the most part of moving day. He was such a good boy that day!

I'm really starting to love my Bumbo seat! I can't sit up by myself yet, but this seat supports my back and helps me stay up.

2 Months Old

Weston is 2 months old!! He is growing so fast and we have the Doctor's word to prove it! We went for our 8 week appt yesterday...Weston is doing really well and growing at the perfect rate. He now weighs 12.2 pounds (73 percentile) and is 23.25 inches long (75 percentile). We just can't believe how big he is getting. Such a big boy!

I had to get 4 vaccinations yesterday (3 shots and one liquid by mouth). It scared me so bad but I only cried for a brief minute.

We went on our first road trip to Charlottesville, VA this weekend. We went to a cousin's wedding. I was such a trooper in the car!

I played in my Baby Einstein Gym for the first time this week and loved it. I loved looking at myself in the mirror and watching the bright lights. It was also fun to kick my feet at the things dangling above me!

I have found my hands! I love to put them in my mouth although it's sometimes a challenge to get them there.

I love the fan! I love to watch it..and watch it...and watch it. It's so entertaining!
