Our First Weekend Away....

This past weekend was our first weekend away without Weston. We know it was a little early, but Weston was in great hands with my parents (Gamma and Poppa). He was an angel the entire weekend...and Eric and I were able to definitely enjoy ourselves at his friend Kevin's wedding in Charlotte, NC. Although everything went really well, we both REALLY missed our little guy! It was nice to get back home to him.

Our First Post Baby Away-Weekend...

Eric's "little brother", Cody, from the "Big Brothers/Big Sisters" program finally came over to meet Weston. They hit it off!

Also, Eric's younger brother, Sean, was able to come down and meet his nephew for the first time! Sean stayed with us for a few days and helped out. It was so great to have him visit.

My, what a growing boy you are!

Weston is growing SO FAST. His thighs have little rolls and his cheeks continue to fill out...we're pretty anxious to see his weight on Aug 4th when we go for his 2 month check up.

As you can see in the pictures below, Weston has learned to smile! Well, for the most part. He smiles more on his terms, but we can definitely make him smile a lot of the time. He has the most beautiful smile...and if it's big enough he has a dimple on his right cheek...precious.

Daddy likes to dress me on the weekends and this Saturday I wore my Ohio State jersey with matching socks! Daddy loved it...

A couple weeks ago I was able to take my first bubble bath...now that I can actually sit covered in the water, I don't mind it so bad. I'm sure I'll start to really enjoy it soon!

One Month Old!

Weston is already one month old! Can you believe it? Time is FLYING. He grows every day...he's definitely still growing height-wise and there is no doubt he's gaining weight! His cheeks are filling out...little chunky cheeks are on the way.

We have been so busy lately, but busy in a good way! Both of our parents came into town, including Eric's brother and his wife and daughter for the 4th...we had a cookout and spent the day hanging out. We all had so much fun...it was so wonderful to see everyone and to introduce Weston to his cousin, Abigail ("Abby"), who is 5 months old.

Eric's mother stayed in town a few days after the rest of the family left to help me out around the house and with Weston...it was so nice to have the extra help.

Hey, Everybody! Listen up! I'm one month old and there are going to be some changes around here! First off, Mommy, grab that binky! And Dad, a fresh diaper wouldn't be the worst thing...get on that! Do I have to do everything around here? I don't have the time. I need 16 to 18 hours of sack time a day to charge my batteries.

Facial Expressions...

Weston now weighs 9 lbs 9 oz ! He is a growing boy! Everything is going really, really well...Weston has started focusing on moving objects and will stare at things, curious as to what's going on. He's started smiling more, on his terms, ha...making him smile is something we're still working on.

Aunt Tricia stopped by to see Weston and she said he has changed so much since the last time she saw him (3 weeks ago). Weston was able to give Tricia a birthday hug & kiss!

Weston has so many different facial expressions...the time when he's most alert is shortly after lunch (around 11am)---he tries to coo to hear his voice and will make the funniest faces...here are a few pictures during those times...
