This is a short video of Weston laughing that Ellen captured with her phone last weekend. It's not that clear, but you can hear him giggling. How precious!

Happy 6 Months, Weston!
Weston is 6 months old...we can't believe it! Gosh...an entire 1/2 year. Crazy! We have been running around and getting ready for all of our Christmas festivities...and graduation! Uncle Carson is graduating from UGA this Friday!! Congratulations, Uncle Carson! We are headed to Athens for graduation, then to Carrollton for the week before Christmas, then to Ohio the day after Christmas. Busy Busy! But we are SO looking forward to it!! :)

Weston's First Thanksgiving!
Weston's first Thanksgiving was great! We traveled to Cleveland for the week and had a wonderful time. Weston got to visit with so many of his family members! We spent time shopping, eating, bowling (I had the highest score...seriously!...I had to add that minor detail in), playing football and basketball, and spending good time with friends & family. Thank you to our family for a great Thanksgiving!
On another note, Weston is teething...A LOT. He constantly has a pool of drool pouring from his mouth. Poor guy. We can tell it's so painful but we can't take the pain away! All we can do is rub numbing gel on his gums...and if it's really bad, we give him a little Tylenol. The teeth should start breaking through any day now! We're hoping sooner than later so that pain goes away.
Weston is sitting up much better these days...pretty soon he'll be doing it without the arms of Mom and Dad next to him, waiting for him to wobble over.
Another milestone: Weston is now sleeping in his crib...in his nursery! He's been out of our bed and in the crib next to us for a couple months now, but we officially moved him out and upstairs to his own room. He's doing just fine! Such a big boy...

5 Months Old!
We have done SO MUCH in the past couple weeks! Sorry it's been a while since we've blogged...it has been so busy! First, Weston is now 5 months old! Can you believe it? And 5 months old is so much fun! Weston can roll over...well, he rolls when he wants to--but can do so from front to back, as well as back to front. We're now working on sitting up! He can do it for 10-15 seconds alone, but then topples over. He's such a big boy!
Two weekends ago, some friends of Eric's (and mine) came into town. We had such a great time. Many thanks to Jay, Erin, Jack, Anna, & Phil for making the trip! We hung out on Friday and then went to the Zoo on Saturday. Saturday night we got babysitters and went to dinner---then to do a little boot scootin' downtown. Lots of fun! Eric & Jay even rode the mechanical bull! Haha...

This past weekend, my Bama girls came into town for Lindsey's Baby Brunch! We had the best time! I'm so sad I don't have any group pictures on my camera. On Friday we all caught up and Saturday morning we headed to Puffy Muffin for the brunch. Lindsey got some great things and we're all so excited to meet Baby Fisher in February (maybe March?)! I'll post a picture of everyone when I receive one :)

Weston's Halloween Week!
Woof Woof! Weston was the cutest puppy ever for his 1st Halloween! He didn't mind his outfit at all...we let him wear it all day Saturday. Everywhere we went, people just loved him! He's used to people staring at him, but Halloween was an exception---he lit up the faces of everyone who saw him. Earlier in the week, Weston wore his Rootin' Tootin' overalls...and his cowboy boots...too cute! Already taking after his Poppa...if only we were in Carrollton, he could have taken a ride on the tractor.

I'm the most adorable puppy!

Shop 'Til You Drop
What a great weekend and week so far! Over the weekend, Grandma Flip and PopPop Flip came to visit. We had so much fun...we went shopping and got some much needed "visiting" time in. On Monday, Weston and I went to Atlanta to stay with Aunt Lindsey & Uncle Chris---we went shopping at the mart (America's Mart) ALL day Tuesday. It was so much fun! We were in heaven, I must say. Lindsey, her mother, me, Gamma, & Weston literally shopped 'til we dropped. Also keep in mind that you can't take strollers....so Weston was in the Bjourn all day...my shoulders feel like I've been doing a bootcamp workout for days. So, about 6 hours worth of shopping---and we were only one ONE floor---FYI, there are 3 towers, each with about 15 floors, and we stayed on one floor all day. We couldn't have seen everything in 2 weeks if we had the chance. But boy did we get so many great things! Weston and the upcoming baby Fisher are two boys who are and will be dressed to fit any occasion!

It's Fall!!
Brrrr! Is it unusually cold outside for mid-October, or what? Crazy weather!
We had a great week and weekend! Last week was Eric's Birthday and our 2-year Anniversary! For the Birthday festivities, Weston & I cooked supper for Daddy--his favorite---Meatloaf, Garlic-Parmesan Mashed Potatoes, Homemade Macaroni & Cheese---YUM! For our Anniversary, Ellen came over and babysat for a couple hours so we could go to dinner.
Over the weekend, we took a wonderful trip to Tuscaloosa, AL for the Alabama game and to meet up with college friends! We had a blast! Weston stayed with Gamma in Carrollton...from what I hear, they had the absolute best time.

4 Months Old!
Weston is 4 months old! We went for our 4 month appt on Oct 6...everything went great! Here were his measurements....
Weight: 16 pounds = 75 % percentile
Height: 26 inches = 90 % percentile
Head circumference = 90 % percentile
Our boy is BIG....or Husky, per Eric. Everything is in proportion to everything else, so all is wonderful. It looks like he's going to be a tall guy!
At the appointment, Dr Makundun said it was time to start feeding him Oatmeal & Fruits & Vegetables....Yay! I've been waiting for this for a long time!

Gentry's Farm
Over the weekend, we took a fun family trip down to Franklin, TN and went to Gentry's Farm. This farm was amazing! There was a huge pumpkin patch, a corn maze, hay rides, farm animals, nature trail, etc. We had a great time and came home with some great pumpkins! Weston had a lot of fun checking out all of the new sites. We're off to a great Fall!
